Community acupuncture is a healthcare model that makes acupuncture more widely available and affordable by treating multiple people in a shared, comfortable space. Instead of a private room, treatments are given in a quiet common area, often in recliner chairs.

- Relaxed Group Setting: You’ll receive your treatment in a peaceful room alongside others, creating a calming and supportive atmosphere. Many people find that the shared experience enhances their relaxation and healing.

What to Expect During Your Session
- Arrival: Upon arrival, you’ll check in, and our friendly staff will guide you to the community treatment area.
- Brief Consultation: Your acupuncturist will have a brief, private conversation with you to understand your current health concerns and treatment goals.
- Relax & Receive: You’ll settle into a comfortable recliner chair. The acupuncturist will then gently insert fine, sterile needles into specific acupuncture points.
- Immerse in Sound: Once the needles are in place, you’ll be enveloped by the gentle, resonant sounds of the sound bowls. You’ll rest and rejuvenate for approximately 30–45 minutes. Many people find themselves in a deep state of relaxation or even fall asleep!
- Gentle Removal & Next Steps: Your acupuncturist will return to remove the needles. You’ll then be free to go, often feeling refreshed, deeply relaxed, and with a sense of clarity. Your acupuncturist will discuss any recommendations for future sessions if desired.
